Gourock Municipal Buildings

This £600,000 renovation to former offices of Inverclyde Council by Richard Robb Architects has resulted in a modern business centre which respects the style and grandeur of the original Municipal Buildings.

The spirit and character of the municpal buildings has been presrved including the revitalization of the original magnificent timber staircase which acts as a main feature for the office space, as well as preservation of the original wooden panneling to interior office spaces and stained glass windows on the main stairwell. The new centre, completed on schedule in 2016 provides a professional and comfortable working environment for six offices in the heart of Gourock town centre, bringing a well connected business hub and commercial boost to the town.
