Proposed comprehensive remedial completing works at the bothy bunkhouse at Otter Ferry

Richard Robb Architects are absolutely delighted to have been involved in bringing back to life and rescuing 'The Ballimore Bothy'. We were commissioned by the new owners to step in & offer Architects' assistance and professional design guidance in the renovation of the original abandoned New Build project. This had for various reasons never been taken to completion and for many years the building had lain incomplete and neglected, falling into a very sad but serious state of disrepair. The building was substantially altered and comprehensively upgraded offering shower facilities together with bunk rooms and couples' overnight accommodation for marine related visitors, passing sailors using the sheltered moorings and all tourists and active guests in need of a comfortable refuge.
