James Walker Devol appointed Richard Robb Architects as Design Team Leader to develop and relocate their Greenock manufacturing outlet into a new state of the art flagship two acre facility.

Richard Robb Architects were responsible for a complete refit of the stunning Enterprise Zone site at Faulds Park Gourock for James Walker Devol, the market specialist in Polymer Engineering serving over 100 countries worldwide. The project incorporates the dismantling/relocation of existing plant together with the installation of new high tech manufacturing equipment into a coordinated and purpose designed extensive production floor area. Detailed surveys of all machines, workspaces and services were taken to ensure that equipment could be dropped directly into place in accordance with planning to reduce leadtime in moving between factories. Works were competitively tendered and were completed within time scales and budget early in 2013.
