Richard Robb Architects considered a contemporary modern design of eleven large two and three bed flats all with open plan living expanding out onto private decking offering outstanding views over the waterfront and expansive Gourock Bay frontage. Scale and massing here comfortably reflects the previous hotel and the adjacent properties. Complex planning constraints and conditions over a sloped and very restricted site led to an integrated comprehensive concept. Each bespoke property is designed to a very high standard with careful layout plans providing generous floor areas and all prospective owners being given their own secure parking space within the rear private enclosed courtyard. Demolition is completed and the project is still ongoing with continual enquiries from interested parties...but watch this space for future development.
