Challenging consents were secured from the Council to allow the erection of a new detached double garage, which required substantial underbuilding construction to take account of demanding ground conditions. Close attention to detail and liaison with the Planners ensured successful negotiations at the application stages for the project, with only minor variations being required for formal approvals.
It's hard to put into words how delighted we are with the end result at West Rowantreehill. We knew from the very first meeting that you were going to be the right architect for the project, not least because you made us feel very comfortable in your beautiful offices and pretended it was perfectly normal to have a noisy 3 year old and a 5 month old baby at a business meeting! you very quickly understood not only our basic requirements to design a safe, family home but also our desire to create a space that retained the original character of the house and your enthusiasm for the project was clear from the outset.
